artist’s statement

My work selects forms from the natural world and recontextualizes them to create a new
representation of nature, a nature dictated by emotions and aesthetic sensibilities.

A colorful floating other-world is shown in exuberance and fecundity.

I work intuitively. Forms and composition are worked out on the surface
creating the layered pentimento of visible alterations.
